Upcoming Events

We host quarterly events for Educators and Sponsors around the United States to prepare university faculty and government personnel to teach Hacking for Defense.

Participants will work with experienced members of past teaching teams, interact with DoD problem sponsors, and meet former H4D students.

A Problem Sourcing Seminar (PSS) is a fast-paced and active session for potential sponsors to ideate potential problems and challenges Department of Defense (DoD) employees are facing in their organization to then decide which challenges to submit for H4D. These seminars:

  • Provide participants with an overview of H4D

  • Outline the roles and responsibilities of an H4D participant

  • Ideate possible problems/challenges DoD employees could submit

  • Determine which problems/challenges should go through H4D

Problem Sourcing Seminars can be in person or virtual and are usually done per request from DoD organizations and employees.

Contact us to set up a PSS for you and your team.

The Educators Course is a comprehensive and immersive training for both existing H4D Educator Teams and people hoping to bring H4D to their campus. The course will provide educators with an overview of Hacking for Defense®️ (H4D) — the curriculum, pedagogy, tools, and community — in order to prepare educators for a successful program at their university. Contact us here for more information about attending our upcoming Educators Course.
